So I've started branching out trying purchased ones. I've only tried two so far, but plan to continue to test a number of them. After reading reviews, this is one of the two I'm currently trying. As far as effectiveness, it doesn't approach my homemade -- nothing does so far -- but I am not displeased because it does give some support, and I think will be especially useful during colder, more sedentary living. It is gentle, easy-to-use, and I have no bad reaction to it.
