Fun but be sure to get that blood flowing for accuracy!
I purchased this kit to determine my blood type since I was never typed as a child. Based on my parents, I knew I was either A+ or O+. The process was very straightforward (there is a link to an instructional video included with the written directions). It was fun and reminded me of high school science class. However I was unable to draw enough blood, even with two lancets included. I would emphasize the importance of really getting your blood flowing and making sure you pierce the fleshiest part of your finger. As you can see in my results, I was unable to draw enough blood for the control sample but if the first three samples are accurate, it would appear my blood type is O+, which as I mentioned before is a possible blood type for me.Questioning the accuracy
I ordered a total of 4 of these typing kits for myself and my mother. I took the test twice and got 2 different results which leaves me questioning things. I would like to do it again to see what happens but I don't want to buy more just to get a new result that confirms nothing. The test is easy and painless but.....
