it’s like good for thick curly hair but it can be a bit messy when taking it out of the hair it does not scary h the scalp of something tho i prefer this over a claw clip, good quality and does not smell like cheap plastic. good size.

Originally I was looking for a banana clip to wear my hair in a puff because I heard that banana clips were better for your hair and scalp than elastic hair ties. I came to iherb looking for a banana clip because I didn't know where to find them in Korea nor did I know what they're called in Korean. These showed up and I got excited. Apparently they're kind of a copy of something called the Puff Cuff. I guess it wasn't really popular back in the day so they stopped making and selling them but I went to watch a few reviews on them on YouTube and everyone kept talking about how comfortable they are and how you can sleep in them and that made me even more excited because I don't want to use head bands or ponytail holders that will pull and break my edges and crown area. I also wanted it to be gentle enough to sleep in so that my daytime puff is simultaneously my nighttime pineapple. And that's exactly how this is. It's not tight at all so I'm not worried about any breakage or scalp/follicle damage. It doesn't pull my hair and because I can easily wear it to sleep with no pain or discomfort I don't have to worry about manipulating my hair every night and then remanipulating it every morning. Even though it's called a thick hair clip, I feel like that name is quite misleading because I do not have thick hair at all. I actually have very very low density hair (my strands aren't coarse either). It only works for me because I have type 4 hair. My hair is like a 4a/4b. Anyway, I'm immensely satisfied with this purchase and I'm glad I bought it. I bought two just in case too.
