Easy to swallow with no scent or noticeable taste, no side effects when taken and the size of the tablets was fine according to my dad who i bought them for. He has had swollen painful finger joints for years. In terms of frequency he only takes one a day even though recommended is twice a day, this is only because it would be quite expensive if he took two a day, if money was no object he would go with the recommended dose but one a day is still having a positive effect. Overall these have been really beneficial, not only has the swelling gone down but the joint mobility and pain is noticeably less than it was, he had issues in all fingers but now just one finger still joint has stiff - hoping this may improve too the longer he takes these. He was struggling with holding the golf club, any pressure or tight gripping caused pain, afterwards he would have pain and burning in his finger joints for a few days. Now he can play golf without the stiffness and pain for the following few days which has meant he is getting out to golf a lot more than he was, for an older person this is a big deal as it means he is also being more social. I mainly chose these because they have peer reviewed clinical trials to back up their claims, despite one of the negative reviews saying they did nothing for them I wonder if they took them for long enough to give them a fair try, the data on the Biosil website says some people react slower than others due to diet, age and other factors affecting absorption, perhaps that has a lot to do with the quality of the outcome. I would say if you are wanting to try them for a specific purpose give them time to work, don't just take one bottle then stop - the difference for my dad in his hands has shown me over time they are definitely helping. I'm now going to try them myself. I've strained the UCL ligament in my thumb joint, could do with some support in repair of the ligament in the next few weeks.
